Alternative title: #LHB_Juice_January Day 8 … Tomato, Red Bell Pepper, Strawberry and Pink Lady Apple Juice.

Ok folks, it’s day 8 of #LHB_Juice_January and we’re kicking the day off with a “glass of Red” Juice … What a great way to start a Friday right? The weekend is very nearly upon us, it’s just there on the horizon! There is just the little matter of a work shift to get through first … And the fact that (if you’re anything like me) you’ve probably slopped this juice down your chin and on your shirt and now resemble the late, great Christopher Lee during his time as Dracula.


Why Red Bell Pepper you ask? Well…

Bell peppers are an amazing source of various Vitamins (especially B6 and C) and Minerals (Manganese, Potassium, Iron, Magnesium and Phosphorus to name but a few!).

Fun fact: “Red bell peppers have 9 times more beta-carotene (a cousin to Vitamin A) and twice the Vitamin C than green bell peppers” (source: University of  the District of Columbia).

Ingredients (Makes 1): 

1/4 Red Bell Pepper (de-seeded)

1 Pink Lady Apple (cored)

1/2 cup of frozen Strawberries

1 Tomatoes (cored)


A glass of red


Just slice it all up and bob in the juicer (for this one I’m using a Nutribullet so I also added 200ml Almond Milk)!
