Fruit Salad

Alternative title: #LHB_Juice_January Day 17 … Banana, Strawberry, Oats and Oat Milk.

Ok folks, it’s day 17 of #LHB_Juice_January and we’re kicking the day off with the “Fruit Salad” Juice  … Does anyone remember the Fruit Salad sweets? I was absolutely obsessed with them, which is strange considering they were apparently pineapple flavoured and I hate pineapple. The taste of it just turns my stomach! So I had to create something that looked how my nostalgia of these sweets tastes. What were your favourite sweets growing up?

Why Strawberries for this juice you ask? Well…

Strawberries are a great source of  various Vitamins (particularly Vitamins B9 – Folate and C), Minerals (such as Magnesium and Manganese) and Polyphenols (it’s all about the Antioxidants).

I’ve heard Strawberries taste absolutely amazing with balsamic vinegar…

Ingredients (Makes 1): 

1 Cup of Frozen Strawberries

1 Banana (peeled)

4 tbsp Oats


Fruit Salad Ingredients


Just slice it all up then bob the banana, 3 tbsp oats and 100ml oat milk into the Nutribullet, blitz and pour into a glass, repeat this with the strawberries, remaining oats and 100ml oat milk.
