Alternative title: #LHB_Juice_January Day 26 …  Romaine Lettuce, Ginger, Pear and Coconut Water.

Ok folks, it’s day 26 of #LHB_Juice_January and we’re kicking the day off with “Lettuce Entertain You” … I have Yoga class tonight and seriously feel as though my get up and go and gotten up and gone! I think it’s just that Tuesday (Monday in disguise) feeling where it’s not the first day back at work after a glorious weekend, but it’s not halfway through the week either. It’s a filler day!

Surely it’s not just me that thinks that way about Tuesdays?

So, why Romaine Lettuce you ask? Well…

Romaine Lettuce is a great source of Vitamins (A, B9 – Folate and C) and Minerals (we’re talking Iron, Phosphorus, Potassium and Calcium). Quite a good addition to a juice or smoothie!

Ingredients (Makes 1): 

1 thumb sized piece of Ginger (peeled)

1 Pear (cored)

1 handful of Romaine Lettuce

Just slice it all up then bob in the juicer (for this one I’m using a Nutribullet so I also added 200ml Coconut Water)!
